Lodging
The workshop organization has reserved a block of rooms at reduced rates at the Hilton Garden Inn Evanston, located just a few blocks away from the Northwestern campus. A complimentary shuttle service between the hotel and the campus will be available to workshop participants during the event. The group booking code for the workshop block is NFW. The workshop rates are:
$119.00 per room, per night - with full American Breakfast buffet (one person)
$129.00 per room, per night - with full American Breakfast buffet (two persons)
The above rates are guaranteed until November 23, 2011 and are subject to the prevailing state & local occupancy tax. Because rooms will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis, you are encouraged to make your reservation as soon as your application has been accepted.
Transportation
The Northwestern University Evanston campus is located approximately 20 miles from Chicago's O'Hare International Airport. Several flat fee cab companies provide transport from the airport to Evanston for approximately $35. To take a flat fee cab you may call one of the following numbers after collecting your luggage:
